The first edition of Hydrica in 2009 saw the participation of 120 Exhibitors of whom 31 were foreign, on 5,000 square meters. The exhibition hosted 20 conventions with the participation of 200 speakers and 1000 conference-goers. The topics addressed were of great importance and the speakers who presented at the various initiatives were outstanding. The Scientific Committee of Hydrica 2009 was coordinated by CNR I.R.S.A. and Federutility, and included the precious collaboration of the main sector bodies and associations of reference: ANBI, ANDIS, ITAL-ICID, Arno River Basin Authority, the Veneto Region, Latium Region Council of users and consumers, University of Padua, Rome La Sapienza University, Insubria University, Milan Polytechnic, etc. The event was a moment for comparing and exchanging experiences and proper practices on water resource management in Italy and in foreign countries: during the “Journées franco-italiennes des technologies de l’Eau et de l’Assainissement”, organized by the Mission Economique Ubifrance, present at the show with 10 leading French companies of the sector, the strategies taken in the two countries in order to conform to the European regulations of reference were illustrated. In addition, the Australian Consulate of Milan presented the producer companies of innovative technology in the irrigation sector. |
